When water exceeds the acceptable level, a rolling steel ball automatically activates the attached unit so that it can effectively remove excess. This 15 amp bilge pump float switch is completely free of mercury, making it environmentally friendly. It can also be used with any 6V, 12V, 24V or 32V system.
