They work great, I'm an old fart with thin skin and was always bleeding from shins
when getting on the boat, crawling under the lifelines on the nonskid deck and also when attaching the Genoa to the forestay. These have completely eliminated those problems and are comfortable to wear. They do cause your knee to sweat a bit, but you don't notice that until you take them off.
